I am a lifelong musician and a strong believer in the primal power of sound for integration and insight. I was formally trained in music from a young age and studied composition and recording in college, but eventually moved away from analytical disciplines in favor of an intuitive approach focusing on the capacity for sound to move energy and promote healing. As a psychotherapist-in-training, my work is also informed by an awareness of how our experiences and wounds may be held in the nervous system. This lets me to work in a way that allows the emergence of a client’s deep wisdom – sometimes preceding conscious awareness – to gently but powerfully promote growth.
